NAAN MUDHALVAN INITIATIVE: SkillsDA PARTNERS WITH GOVERNMENT OF TAMIL NADU

‘Naan Mudhalvan’ is a massive skill-building, flagship initiative by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) as the nodal agency to execute and monitor the initiative. As part of this initiative, several skill-building courses across various streams of engineering have been sourced from more than 50 training/industry partners and provided to the students.
About 19 areas for skill building have been identified for students presently in their 5th and 7th semesters. Courses in these areas have been included in the curriculum for Anna University and its affiliated colleges as mandatory courses.
SkillsDA courses have been made mandatory for current semester Computer Science engineering students in about 400 colleges across Tamil Nadu.
The programme was launched on 29 August, 2022. Mr Kottaram Ramesh, Managing Director of SkillsDA – INGU’s Knowledge Academy Pvt Ltd, exchanged the MoU with J Innocent Divya, IAS, MD – TNSDC, in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, MK Stalin.

Naan Muthalvan ignites the potential, academic ability and latent talent of the students for the future benefit of the students. The objective of the Naan Muthalvan scheme is to improve the skills of 10 lakh students every year and discover bet talent for the prosperity of the country
